1″ DTI Structural Squirter Washer – Mechanically Galvanized | Qty. 16,200 (Pallet)

The DTI Squirter Washer is engineered for precision in structural bolting applications, providing visual confirmation of bolt tension without the need for torque tools or tension measurement devices. Designed for use with A325 and A490 structural bolts, this washer features built-in silicone indicators that expel a bright orange material when proper tension is achieved.

Mechanically galvanized for enhanced corrosion resistance, these washers are ideal for exterior applications and environments where durability is a must. Each washer is designed to deform at a specified load, ensuring consistency and reliability in steel-to-steel connections.

Whether you’re working on bridges, high-rise buildings, or steel erection projects, DTI Squirter Washers help crews install faster, safer, and with greater confidence. Choose from multiple diameters to match your bolt size and meet project specifications with ease.

Features:

• Built-in Visual Indicator: Silicone squirts out when proper tension is reachedno guesswork needed.
• Mechanically Galvanized Finish: Provides excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor or long-term structural use.
• Precision Load Indication: Washers compress at a specified tension to confirm preload consistency across all bolts.
• Multiple Size Options: Available in diameters to match a range of A325 and A490 bolts.
• Speeds Up Inspection: Visual confirmation of bolt tension reduces the time and cost of third-party inspection processes.

Applications:

• Commercial structural steel connections
• Bridges and overpasses
• High-rise construction
• Prefabricated steel buildings
• Industrial facilities

Installation:

Install the washer under the bolt head or nut per ASTM F959 guidelines. As tension is applied, the washer compresses, and the orange indicator will appear when the proper load is achieved. No special tools required, standard impact wrenches or calibrated turn-of-nut procedures will suffice.
